Little Green House
Where little ones play, explore and grow (often with muddy boots).
Our primary school welcomes P1 and P2 children (ages 4 to 6) into an environment where every child is known, valued, and supported as an individual. With our small classes of no more than 12 students, we tailor learning to each child’s pace, needs, and potential, fostering confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.
At our school, learning extends far beyond the classroom walls. Nature serves as an open-air classroom where children explore, observe, climb, experiment, and naturally develop respect for the environment. Sustainability is not simply a topic we teach; it is a value we live every day.
French, English, and German are an integral part of daily life. Within our multicultural community, languages are discovered and practised naturally, in a spirit of openness, curiosity, and respect for diversity. We also believe that children thrive when their families feel supported. That is why our “Partner to Parents” philosophy places parents at the heart of our educational approach. More than a school, we strive to be a trusted partner that families can rely on at every stage of their child’s journey.

Our directors in Tolochenaz

“Hi there, I joined Little Green House in 2015 as an educator and became Director in 2017. My goal is to establish a “family spirit” and to build a place of sharing and mutual support. To me, the different cultures at Little Green House are a real wealth. I love to see every child flourish and build a solid foundation of self-confidence. I am happy that I can support the children in their learning while respecting their rhythm.”
– Allison Zancanaro
“I have been with Little Green House since 2013 and am thrilled to be part of this wonderful community. As Pedagogical Director and Head of the Little Green House School, I am teaching and developing a curriculum for our bilingual early primary school program. My passion is to help children grow into confident, creative, and compassionate lifelong learners. My hope is that they will become inspired and capable of making positive differences in our increasingly diverse and fast-changing world.”
